Elahere (mirvetuximab soravtansine-gynx injection)

Elahere (mirvetuximab soravtansine-gynx) is a folate receptor alpha (FRα)-directed antibody and microtubule inhibitor conjugate indicated for the treatment of adult patients with FRα positive, platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, who have received one to three prior systemic treatment regimens. Patients are selected for therapy based on an FDA-approved test.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• shortness of breath,
• confusion,
• blurred vision,
• cough,
• restlessness,
• slow heart rate,
• anxiety,
• eye pain,
• seeing halos around lights,
• increased sensitivity to light,
• decreased vision,
• muscle weakness
• redness of the eye,
• dry eye,
• visual impairment,
• photophobia,
• dark, floating spots in your vision (floaters),
• abnormal chest x-rays,
• tingling or burning sensation in the hands, arms, legs, or feet,
• numbness in your feet or hands,
• sharp, stabbing or throbbing pain,
• sensitivity to touch, and
