Egaten (triclabendazole) is an anthelmintic indicated for the treatment of fascioliasis in patients 6 years of age and older.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- wheezing,
- shortness of breath, and
- red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever,
- tightness in the chest or throat,
- difficulty swallowing or talking,
- unusual hoarseness,
- fast heartbeat
