Effexor (venlafaxine hydrochloride)

Effexor (venlafaxine) is an antidepressant used for treatment of major depression. A generic version of Effexor is available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- constipation,
- dry mouth,
- nervousness,
- headaches,
- drowsiness,
- anxiety,
- insomnia,
- impotence,
- difficulty having an orgasm,
- increased sweating,
- decreased sex drive,
- increased blood pressure, and
- strange dreams,
- seizures.
