Raptiva (efalizumab)

Raptiva (efalizumab) is an immunosuppressive medication used to treat plaque psoriasis (raised, silvery flaking of the skin) in adults. The brand name Raptiva is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

•  headache
• back pain
• muscle pain
• nausea or vomiting (especially after the first dose)
• joint pain/stiffness/swelling, or
• swelling in your hands or feet.
