Edurant (rilpivirine tablets)

Edurant (rilpivirine) is a reverse transcriptase inhibitor used in combination with other antiretroviral agents and is indicated for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection in antiretroviral treatment-naïve adult patients.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- dark urine,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- weight loss,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- muscle aches,
- wheezing,
- flu-like symptoms,
- cough,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- mood changes,
- menstrual changes, and
- right-sided upper stomach pain,
- anxiety,
- trouble speaking,
- burning in your eyes,
- severe weakness,
- unusual bruising,
- difficulty swallowing,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes,
- feelings of low self-worth,
- loss of interest in things you once enjoyed,
- new sleep problems,
- cold sores,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- weakness or prickly feeling,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- impotence
- thoughts about self-harm,
- sadness,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes and peeling,
- hopeless,
