Savaysa (edoxaban tablets)

type of Factor Xa Inhibitors

Savaysa (edoxaban) is a factor Xa inhibitor used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism (SE) in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• easy bruising,
• lightheadedness,
• dizziness,
• back pain,
• headaches,
• bloody or tarry stools,
• unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums, heavy menstrual bleeding),
• any bleeding that will not stop,
• coughing up blood, and
• vomit that looks like coffee grounds
• loss of bladder or bowel control,
• numbness or muscle weakness in your lower body,
• pain, swelling, or drainage from a wound or where a needle was injected in your skin,
• urine that looks red, pink, or brown,
• bleeding from wounds or need injections,

• Jantoven (warfarin sodium tablets)
• Rythmol (propafenone)

• Xarelto (rivaroxaban film-coated oral tablets)
• Verelan (verapamil hydrochloride)
