Duzallo (lesinurad and allopurinol tablets)

type of Selective Uric acid Reabsorption Inhibitor (SURI)

Duzallo (lesinurad and allopurinol) is a combination of a URAT1 inhibitor and a xanthine oxidase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of hyperuricemia associated with gout in patients who have not achieved target serum uric acid levels with a medically appropriate daily dose of allopurinol alone.

The drug is often used to treat Gout .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• itching,
• dark urine,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• swollen glands,
• shortness of breath,
• tiredness,
• clay-colored stools,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• joint pain,
• chest pain or pressure,
• sore throat,
• skin pain,
• little or no urination,
• swelling in your feet or ankles,
• sudden numbness or weakness,
• burning in your eyes,
• red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
• problems with vision or speech, and
• swelling or redness in an arm or leg
• pain in your side or lower back,
• upper stomach pain (right side),
