Dutoprol (metroprolol)

Dutoprol (metoprolol succinate extended release/hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of a beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoceptor-blocking agent and a diuretic used to treat hypertension, to lower blood pressure.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• dizziness,
• sore throat,
• runny or stuffy nose,
• tiredness,
• back pain,
• fatigue,
• inflammation of the nose and throat,
• slow heart rate, and
• low blood potassium (hypokalemia).
