Multaq (dronedarone tablets)

Multaq (dronedarone) is an antiarrythmic drug used to treat atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter, types of abnormal heart rhythms. The only recommended dosage of MULTAQ (dronedarone tablets) is 400 mg twice daily in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chest pain,
  • swelling,
  • wheezing,
  • fainting,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • little or no urination,
  • slow heart rate,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • feeling tired,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • trouble breathing,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • dry cough,
  • severe dizziness,
  • coughing up mucus,
  • breathing problems while lying down trying to sleep,
  • new or worsening irregular heartbeat pattern,

  • Tenormin I.V. Injection (atenolol inj)
  • Cardizem LA (diltiazem)
  • Coumadin (warfarin sodium)
  • Inderal (propranolol)
  • Inderal LA (propranolol)
  • Lopressor (metoprolol tartrate)
  • Toprol XL (metoprolol succinate)
