Silenor (doxepin) is a tricyclic antidepressant drug used to treat sleep problems (insomnia). Silenor is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- shortness of breath,
- chest pain,
- lightheadedness,
- diarrhea,
- pale skin,
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- confusion,
- skin redness,
- trouble breathing, and
- hallucinations,
- depressed mood,
- unusual tiredness,
- eye pain or redness,
- trouble swallowing,
- flu-like symptoms,
- cold hands and feet,
- seizure,
- pain or burning when you urinate
- red or swollen gums,
- uncontrolled muscle movements,
- sleep walking,
- unusual thoughts or behavior,
- thoughts about hurting yourself,
- blisters or ulcers in your mouth,
- skin sores or white patches,
