Nuromax (doxacurium chloride)

Nuromax (doxacurium chloride) Injection is a long-acting, nondepolarizing skeletal muscle relaxant used to provide skeletal muscle relaxation as an adjunct to general anesthesia, for endotracheal intubation, or to facilitate mechanical ventilation. The brand name of this medication is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • fever
  • hives
  • bronchospasm
  • wheezing
  • injection site reactions
  • double vision
  • prolonged drug effects such as weakness or skeletal muscle paralysis, and
  • allergic reactions (including anaphylaxis)
