Tivicay (doutegravir 50mg tablets)

Tivicay (dolutegravir) is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) used in combination with other antiretroviral agents to treat human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection in adults and children aged 12 years and older.

The drug is often used to treat HIV .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • diarrhea,
  • skin rash,
  • trouble sleeping (insomnia),
  • tiredness,
  • depression,
  • fatigue, and 
  • abnormal dreams,
  • allergic reactions such as rash,
  • changes in liver tests,
  • changes in body fat (especially in your back, neck, and trunk),
  • changes in your immune system,
  • spinning sensation (vertigo).
