Ditropan XL (oxybutynin chloride extended release tablets)

Ditropan XL (oxybutynin chloride) is an antispasmodic and anticholinergic agent used to treat symptoms of overactive bladder, such as frequent or urgent urination, incontinence (urine leakage), and increased night-time urination. Ditropan XL is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- blurred vision,
- constipation,
- little or no urination,
- painful or difficult urination,
- severe stomach pain,
- eye pain,
- tunnel vision,
- seeing halos around lights,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat,
- feeling very thirsty or hot,
- heavy sweating, and
- hot and dry skin
