Pediarix (diphtheria, tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis adsorbed, hepatitis b and inactivated poliovirus vaccine) is a vaccine used to immunize children against diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus, which are serious diseases caused by bacteria, as well as hepatitis B and polio, which are serious diseases caused by viruses.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- fever,
- nausea,
- diarrhea
- joint pain,
- loss of appetite,
- body aches,
- vomiting, or
- injection site reactions (redness, pain, tenderness, or swelling),
- fussiness or crying,
