Tecfidera (dimethyl fumarate delayed release capsules)

Tecfidera (dimethyl fumarate) is a fumaric acid ester used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • fever,
  • swollen glands,
  • skin rash,
  • chills,
  • chest pain,
  • dizziness,
  • weakness, and
  • cough,
  • tightness in the chest,
  • sore throat,
  • hoarseness,
  • lower back or side pain,
  • painful or difficult urination,
  • fast heartbeat,
  • unusual tiredness
  • black or tarry stools,
  • unusual bleeding or bruising,
  • white spots on the lips or in the mouth,
  • swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue,
  • feeling of warmth,
  • redness of the face, neck, arms, and upper chest,
  • difficulty with swallowing,
  • blisters on the trunk of the body,
