Dilaudid-HP (hydromorphone hydrochloride injection)

Dilaudid-HP (hydromorphone hydrochloride) Injection is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe pain. Dilaudid-HP is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- severe drowsiness,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea
- sweating,
- weakness,
- noisy breathing,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- shallow breathing,
- hallucinations,
- twitching,
- fast heart rate,
- blue colored lips,
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- sighing,
- breathing that stops during sleep,
- worsening tiredness,
- breathing that slows or stops,
- difficult to wake,
