Lanoxin (digoxin) is a drug used to enhance the strength of the heartbeat and improve heart beat regularity and is used to treat a number of different heart problems. Lanoxin is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache
• diarrhea
• vomiting
• dizziness
• rash
• abdominal pain
• weakness
• confusion
• mild nausea
• apathy
• mental disturbances (such as anxiety, depression,
  delirium, and
  hallucination)
• enlarged breasts in men (gynecomastia)
