Voltaren XR (diclofenac) is an extended release nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the treatment of pain, fever, and inflammation by reducing the production of prostaglandins. Voltaren RX is used primarily for the treatment of inflammation and pain caused by conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
