Keveyis (dichlorphenamide) is an oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of primary hyperkalemic periodic paralysis, primary hypokalemic periodic paralysis, and related variants.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- tiredness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- constipation,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- irregular heartbeats,
- skin rash (no matter how mild),
- shortness of breath
- leg cramps,
- numbness or tingling,
- muscle weakness or limp feeling,
- accidental fall,
- worsening of your paralysis symptoms,
