Dianeal PD-2 (peritoneal) Dialysis Solution is used for peritoneal dialysis in patients in acute or chronic renal failure when nondialytic medical therapy is judged to be inadequate. Dianeal PD-2 (peritoneal) Dialysis Solution may also be used to treat certain fluid and electrolyte disturbances, and for patients intoxicated with certain poisons and drugs.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• fever,
• shortness of breath,
• weight loss,
• dizziness,
• constipation,
• fatigue,
• weakness,
• confusion, and
• irregular heartbeat,
• seizures,
• irritability,
• abdominal cramping,
• fast heart rate,
• bloating,
• little or no urine,
• Numbness and tingling
• thirst,
• confusion,  
• abdominal pain or tenderness,
• feeling of fullness in your abdomen,
• flatulence,
• changes in bowel habits,
• swelling in the lower legs,
