ProCentra (dextroamphetamine sulfate oral solution)

ProCentra (dextroamphetamine sulfate) Oral Solution is an amphetamine used to treat narcolepsy. ProCentra is also used to treat attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD) as an integral part of a total treatment program that typically includes other remedial measures (psychological, educational, social).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- headache,
- constipation,
- loss of appetite,
- weight loss,
- elevated blood pressure,
- tremor,
- restlessness,
- fast heart rate,
- dry mouth,
- insomnia,
- hives,
- involuntary muscle movements,
- impotence, and
- palpitations,
- euphoria,
- overstimulation,
- sense of uneasiness,
- worsening of motor and phonic tics and Tourette's syndrome,
- unpleasant taste in mouth,
- changes in sex drive.
