Polmon (dexchlorpheniramine maleate oral solution) is an antihistamine used to treat allergy symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, hives, skin swelling, and rash. Polmon is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • restlessness,
  • slurred speech,
  • very stiff (rigid) muscles,
  • high fever,
  • fast, pounding or irregular heartbeat,
  • sudden dizziness,
  • mental or mood changes,
  • tremors,
  • fainting
  • eye pain or swelling,
  • sudden vision loss,
  • tunnel vision,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • arm or leg weakness,
  • trouble walking,
  • loss of coordination,
  • feeling unsteady,

  • fluttering in the chest,
  • profuse sweating,
