Hexadrol (dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection, usp)

Hexadrol Phosphate Injection (dexamethasone sodium phosphate) is a corticosteroid used to treat a number of conditions including arthritis, blood/hormone/immune system disorders, allergic reactions, certain skin and eye conditions, breathing problems, certain bowel disorders, and certain cancers. Hexadrol Phosphate Injection is also used as a test for an adrenal gland disorder (Cushing's syndrome). The brand name Hexadrol Phosphate Injection may be discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
The drug is often used to treat Arthritis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- stomach pain,
- vision problems,
- weakness,
- agitation,
- sore throat,
- slow wound healing,
- mood changes,
- seizures,
- depression,
- severe dizziness
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- easy bruising or bleeding,
- increased thirst or urination, and
- mood swings,
- thinning skin,
- swelling of the ankles or feet,
- fast, slow, irregular heartbeat,
- unusual weight gain,
- bone or joint pain,
- eye pain or pressure,
- puffy face,
- black or tarry stools,
- menstrual period changes,
- muscle pain or cramps,
