Pristiq (desvenlafaxine extended-release tablets)

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is type of antidepressant called a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat major depressive disorder.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- confusion,
- blurred vision,
- headache,
- cough,
- trouble breathing,
- coughing up blood,
- memory problems,
- eye pain or swelling,
- severe weakness,
- chest discomfort,
- hallucinations
- seeing halos around lights,
- feeling unsteady, and
- blood in your urine or stools,
- easy bruising or bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
- convulsion (seizure),
