Desoximetasone Ointment, 0.25% contains the active synthetic corticosteroid indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Desoximetasone ointment is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• dryness,
• acne,
• hair bumps,
• thinning skin,
• excess hair growth,
• skin discoloration,
• inflammation and rash around the mouth,
• allergic contact dermatitis,
• breakdown of skin,
