LoKara (desonide 0.05%) lotion is a low to medium potency corticosteroid indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic (itching) manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses. LoKaralotion is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- irritation
- peeling
- thinning or softening of your skin
- skin rash or irritation around your mouth
- swollen hair follicles
- changes in color of treated skin
- crusting of treated skin, or
- stretch marks
- dryness
- scaling
- blisters
- pimples
- contact dermatitis
- skin burning
- mild skin itching or redness
