Simliya (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets, and ethinyl estradiol tablets)

Simliya (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets and ethinyl estradiol tablets) is a combined oral contraceptive (COC) used to prevent pregnancy in women who elect to use this product as a method of contraception.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- depression,
- missed menstrual periods,
- change in vaginal discharge,
- breakthrough bleeding,
- spotting,
- changes in menstrual flow,
- migraine,
- fluid retention (edema),
- cholestatic jaundice,
- rash (allergic),
- temporary infertility after discontinuation of treatment,
- skin discoloration/dark spots (melasma) which may persist,
- diminished lactation when given immediately postpartum,
- reduced tolerance to carbohydrates,
- vaginal yeast infection, and
- problems with contact lenses
- gastrointestinal symptoms (such as abdominal cramps and bloating),
- change in weight,
- breast changes (tenderness, enlargement, secretion),
