Stimate (desmopressin acetate nasal spray)

Stimate (desmopressin acetate) nasal is a man-made form of a hormone that occurs naturally in the pituitary gland used to treat central cranial diabetes insipidus and increased thirst and urination caused by head surgery or head trauma. Stimate is also used to treat hemophilia A or von Willebrand's disease Type I.
The drug is often used to treat Diabetes .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- dizziness
- upset stomach
- vomiting
- sore throat
- nausea

headache - runny or stuffy nose
- stomach pain
- flushing (warmth redness or tingly feeling) of the face
- cough or other cold symptoms
- eye redness or watering
- eye itching
- increased sensitivity of eyes to light
- weakness
- agitation, or
- hot or cold feeling.
