DermOtic Oil (fluocinolone acetonide) Ear Drops is a corticosteroid used to treat eczema of the outer ear.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• burning,
• irritation,
• dryness,
• infection,
• acne,
• redness,
• stinging,
• stretch marks, and
• rash.
• changes in skin color,

The following drugs are related to DermOtic Oil, either as a replacement or used together:

• Auralgan (antipyrine, benzocaine and glycerin dehydrated)
• Cortisporin Otic Solution (neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic solution)
• Cortisporin Otic Suspension (neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic suspension)
