Depakene (valproic acid) is an antiepileptic used to treat various types of seizure disorders. Depakene is sometimes used together with other seizure medications. Depakene is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- weakness,
- constipation,
- upset stomach,
- drowsiness,
- unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth.
- shakiness (tremor),
- ringing in the ears,
- hair loss,
- unsteadiness,
- changes in menstrual periods,
