Kybella (deoxycholic acid injection)

Kybella (deoxycholic acid) injection contains a cytolytic agent used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe convexity or fullness associated with submental (under the chin) fat in adults.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- headache,
- fainting,
- pounding in the ears,
- trouble swallowing,
- neck pain,
- muscle weakness in the face,
- pain in the mouth or throat,
- slow or fast heartbeat,
- uneven smile,
- skin discoloration (blue, green to black),
- cracking of the skin,
- pain, redness, or sloughing of the skin at the injection site, and
- swollen, painful, or tender lymph glands in the neck
