Rescriptor (delavirdine mesylate)

Rescriptor (delavirdine mesylate) is an antiviral medication used to treat HIV, which causes the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Rescriptor is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea
- itching
- diarrhea
- headache
- rash, or
- tiredness
- worsening of a previous medical condition (such as an old infection)
- cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sneezing, or sore throat).
