DDAVP Rhinal Tube (desmopressin acetate rhinal tube)

DDAVP Rhinal Tube (desmopressin acetate) is a man-made form of a hormone that occurs naturally in the pituitary gland and is used to treat central cranial diabetes insipidus, and increased thirst and urination caused by head surgery or head trauma. DDAVP Rhinal Tube is also used to treat hemophilia A or von Willebrand's disease Type I.
The drug is often used to treat Diabetes .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- confusion,
- seizure,
- headache,
- restlessness,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- drowsiness,
- rapid weight gain,
- irritableness,
- hallucinations,
- muscle pain or weakness,
- runny or stuffy nose, and
- sinus congestion
