Daypro Alta (oxaprozin)

Daypro Alta (oxaprozin potassium tablets) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the treatment of inflammation and the pain, fever, swelling and tenderness of joints caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Daypro Alta is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- fever,
- pale skin,
- shortness of breath,
- tiredness,
- clay-colored stools,
- swelling,
- wheezing,
- flu-like symptoms,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- little or no urination,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- rapid weight gain,
- slurred speech,
- bloody or tarry stools,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- runny or stuffy nose,
- skin rash (no matter how mild),
- sneezing,
- lightheadedness, and
- cold hands and feet
- sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body,
- chest pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- yellowing of the ski nor eyes (jaundice),
