Daypro (oxaprozin) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain or inflammation caused by arthritis. Daypro is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Arthritis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • shortness of breath,
  • tiredness,
  • clay-colored stools,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • sudden numbness,
  • swelling,
  • wheezing,
  • flu-like symptoms,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • little or no urination,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • slurred speech,
  • weakness on one side of the body,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • coughing up blood,
  • runny or stuffy nose,
  • skin rash (no matter how mild),
  • sneezing,
  • lightheadedness, and
  • cold hands and feet
  • chest pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
  • vomiting that looks coffee grounds,
