Daurismo (glasdegib tablets)

Daurismo (glasdegib) is a hedgehog pathway inhibitor indicated, in combination with low-dose cytarabine, for the treatment of newly-diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adult patients who are 75 years old or older or who have comorbidities that preclude use of intensive induction chemotherapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• shortness of breath,
• chest pain,
• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• cough,
• constipation,
• fever,
• weight loss,
• rash,
• low blood platelets (thrombocytopenia),
• bleeding,
• fatigue,
• abdominal pain,
• changes in taste,
• decreased appetite,
• anemia,
• febrile neutropenia,
• musculoskeletal pain,
• fluid retention/swelling,
• inflammation and ulcers of mucus membranes,
• muscle spasm,
• pneumonia,
• low blood sodium (hyponatremia),
• decreased white blood cell count,
• irregular heart rate, and
• kidney problems.
