Darvon (propoxyphene) is a narcotic (opioid) analgesic drug class prescribed to treat mild to moderate pain. The brand name Darvon is no longer available in the U.S. Generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,

• lightheadedness,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• constipation,
• stomach pain,
• skin rash.
• drowsiness,
• muscle pain,
• blurred vision, or
• sleepiness,
