Daraprim (pyrimethamine) is an antiparasitic drug used to treat and prevent malaria, and is also used in the treatment of toxoplasmosis.

The drug is often used to treat Malaria .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • vomiting,
  • loss of appetite,
  • insomnia,
  • dry mouth.
  • lightheadedness, or

  • Coartem (artemether lumefantrine tablets)
  • Malarone (atovaquone and proguanil hcl)
  • Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine)
  • Qualaquin (quinine sulfate capsules)
