Farxiga (dapagliflozin film-coated tablets)

Farxiga (dapagliflozin) is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chills,
- rapid breathing,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- weight gain,
- dry mouth,
- back pain,
- headache,
- increased heart rate,
- fainting,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- cough,
- tightness in the chest,
- unusual tiredness,
- painful urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- seizures,
- anxiety,
- slurred speech,
- depression,
- nightmares,
- fast heartbeat,
- difficulty swallowing,
- cold sweats,
- little or no urine,
- stomach pain, and
- shakiness,
- bladder pain,
- pink or cloudy urine,
- cool or pale skin,
- frequent urge to urinate,
- increased hunger and thirst,
- itching of the vagina or genitals,
- back or side pain,
- thick, white vaginal discharge with mild or no odur,
- foul smelling discharge from the penis,
- pain in the skin around the penis,
- redness, itching, or swelling of the penis,
- sunken eyes,
- wrinkled skin,
- flushed, dry skin,
- pain, tenderness, redness, or swelling of the area between the anus and genitals,
- unexplained weight loss
