Ryanodex (dantrolene sodium injectable suspension)

Ryanodex (dantrolene sodium) is a skeletal muscle relaxant used to treat malignant hyperthermia in conjunction with appropriate supportive measures, and to prevent malignant hyperthermia in patients at high risk.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • flushing
  • weakness in the legs
  • dizziness
  • blurred vision
  • drowsiness
  • muscle weakness
  • hives
  • blood clots
  • injection site reactions (pain, redness, swelling)
  • pain in the extremities
  • loss of grip strength
  • difficulty speaking or swallowing
  • fast heart rate, and
