Daliresp (roflumilast)
type of Phosphodiesterase-4 Enzyme Inhibitors
Daliresp (roflumilast) is a selective phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor indicated as a treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in patients who also suffer from chronic bronchitis. Daliresp is not a bronchodilator and is not indicated for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
The drug is often used to treat Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- runny or stuffy nose,
- loss of appetite,
- back pain,
- flu symptoms,
- stomach or abdominal pain,
- minor weight loss,
- acute pancreatitis, and
- acute renal failure.
