Vizimpro (dacomitinib)

Vizimpro (dacomitinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the first-line treatment of patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R substitution mutations as detected by an FDA-approved test.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• rash,
• fever,
• shortness of breath,
• chest pain,
• wheezing,
• cough,
• itching, and
• dry skin,
• redness,
• acne,
• severe or ongoing diarrhea,
• new or worsening breathing problems
• swelling, redness, or infection under or around your fingernails or toenails,
• peeling or blistering
