Dacogen (decitabine) for Injection is a cancer (antineoplastic) medication used to treat myelodysplastic syndromes (certain types of blood or bone marrow cancer). Dacogen is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- cold hands and feet,
- chills,
- sore throat,
- mouth sores,
- chest pain, and
- skin sores,
- red or swollen gums,
- shortness of breath
- cough with mucus,
- purple or red spots under your skin,
