Nouress (cysteine hydrochloride injection)

Nouress (cysteine hydrochloride injection) is a sulfur-containing amino acid indicated for use as an additive to amino acids solutions to meet nutritional requirements of neonates (preterm and term infants less than one month of age) requiring total parenteral nutrition.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• shortness of breath,
• confusion,
• severe headache,
• blurred vision,
• slurred speech,
• high fever,
• sudden dizziness,
• tremors,
• fainting
• eye pain or swelling,
• sudden vision loss,
• tunnel vision,
• seeing halos around lights,
• arm or leg weakness,
• trouble walking,
• loss of coordination,
• feeling unsteady,
• very stiff muscles,
• lightheadedness, and
• fluttering in the chest,
• fast, irregular or pounding heartbeats,
• profuse sweating,
