Cystadrops (cysteamine ophthalmic solution)

Cystadrops (cysteamine ophthalmic solution) is a cystine-depleting agent used to treat corneal cystine crystal deposits in adults and children with cystinosis.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- blurred vision,
- eye pain,
- eye redness,
- eye irritation,
- instillation site discomfort,
- eye itching,
- increased tearing, and
- ocular deposits
The following drugs are related to Cystadrops, either as a replacement or used together:
- Cystagon (cysteamine bitartrate)
- Cystaran (cysteamine ophthalmic solution)
- Procysbi (cysteamine bitartrate delayed-release capsules)
