Cyclomydril (cyclopentolate hydrochloride and phenylephrine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) is a mydriatic used to dilate the pupils.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • pounding in your neck or ears,
  • anxiety,
  • eye pain,
  • fast heart rate,
  • tunnel vision,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • little or no urinating,
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
  • severe constipation, and
  • weak or shallow breathing
