Cutivate Cream (fluticasone topical)
type of Anti-Inflammatory Agents
Cutivate (fluticasone propionate cream) is a topical (for the skin) steroid used to treat inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. Cutivate is not used to treat rosacea, severe acne, or viral skin infections such as chickenpox or herpes. Some forms and strengths of Cutivate are available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Chickenpox , Psoriasis , Rosacea .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache,
- burning,
- dryness,
- skin rash or irritation around the mouth,
- swollen hair follicles,
- changes in color of treated skin,
- blisters,
- pimples,
- crusting of treated skin, or
- peeling,
- mild skin itching,
- thinning or softening of skin,
- redness or crusting around hair follicles,
- stretch marks.
