Cubicin (daptomycin) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the skin and underlying tissues.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• constipation,
• trouble sleeping (insomnia),
• swelling,
• anxiety,
• back pain,
• itching or skin rash,
• pain in your arms or legs,
• increased sweating, or
• injection site reactions (pain, discomfort, irritation, redness, or swelling).
