Cryselle (norgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets) is an oral contraceptive indicated for the prevention of pregnancy in women. Cryselle is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting,
• depression,
• missed menstrual periods,
• bloating,
• change in vaginal discharge,
• abdominal cramps,
• breakthrough bleeding,
• spotting,
• changes in menstrual flow,
• migraine,
• fluid retention (edema),
• nipple secretion,
• temporary infertility after discontinuation of treatment,
• change in weight,
• vaginal yeast infection, and
• intolerance to contact lenses.
