Intal (cromolyn sodium) is an anti-inflammatory medication used to prevent asthma attacks in people with bronchial asthma as well as wheezing, chest tightness, and trouble breathing caused by exercise, pollutants in the air or exposure to certain chemicals. Intal is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Asthma .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• stomach pain,
• dizziness,
• headache,
• nosebleed,
• drowsiness,
• heartburn,
• sneezing,
• unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth
• watery eyes,
• dry or irritated throat,
• stuffy or itchy nose,
• burning feeling in the nose,
• frequent urination or urinating less than usual,
• temporary or occasional cough, or
